Kick - A movie to the expectations of Lead Actor's fans, this film delivers perfect kick to the audience. Unlike his earlier flick, this time the Hero adds his mark to the message to be conveyed; an attempt to make people feel being human. He even went vocal to appease the local. Stunning stunts, shunting songs, hunting sequences and complementing screenplay are worth complimenting. Well supported by music and other cast with appreciable performances making an impression to last. Though some chase sequences look inappropriate, the consequences leading to seem substantiate. The protagonist says, Kick of failure is higher than the Kick of victory, especially after a whole-hearted attempt and rightly so, the returns are proving that. And for those who think why does he select such subjects, well, he states in the movie; if you think more about him, you will like him but never understand him. దేవునిగా పూజింపబడే కృష్ణునికి జన్మనిచ్చిన తండ్రి అయిన వసుదేవుడంతటివాడే కన్న కొడుకు కోసం ఒక గాడిద కాళ్ళు పట్టుకున్నాడు అని పురాణం.

కొడుకు కారణజన్ముడని తెలిసి కూడా వసుదేవుడు తన బిడ్డకు కించిత్ ప్రమాదం అయినా కలుగరాదు
అని ఆ చర్యకు ఉపక్రమించాడా?
ఆకాశవాణి చెప్పిన భవిష్యవాణి తప్పు అవుతుందేమో అన్న సంశయంతో మానవమాత్రుడు కనుక మనసున శంకతో కొంత జంకి ఆ కార్యమొనర్చాడా?

ఈ పనిని జరుగనిచ్చాడా?

పిలిచిన పలికే, తలచిన నిలిచే, కొలిచిన కాచే దైవమని కీర్తింపబడు కృష్ణున్ని కన్న బిడ్డవలె కన్నుల్లో పెట్టుకొని వెన్నతో పెంచుకున్న తల్లి యశోద అని చెబుతుంది భాగవతం.
మరి అటువంటి తల్లిని లోకకళ్యాణం కోసమని వదిలి వెళ్ళిన కృష్ణుడు అధికారికముగ చేసుకున్న ఎనిమిది కళ్యాణ వేడుకలలో ఒక్కదానికి కూడా తనను సంప్రదించకపోవడం, తన చేతుల మీదుగా ఒక్క పెళ్ళిని కూడా జరుగనివ్వకపోవడం -

Pizza - A pretty thrilling effort, if not chilling, by the new comers in directing and acting. The lack of experience is acceptable coupled with a gripping story and undripping plot. The screenplay and effects do complement the suspense and the climax is a perfect foil for the essence in this film. Its making definitely plays on the senses of the audience and the taking is a welcome change from the usual elements in this genre. This Pizza, served hot to instill cold, though not stomach filling; is obviously worth the billing. If not the whole, the toppings seem great. Taste the experience before it is late...

Drushyam (Visual) - Tagged with a line 'Visuals can be deceiving', this story aptly revolves around this statement. It is true that; providing unwarranted freedom to children can be deceiving the parents, befriending some stranger can be deceiving the trust, being caring can be viewed as possessive, being calculative can be seen as stingy... Well; the movie deals very well, with the adverse effects of advent of technology, blindfold parenting, positive usage of movie watching, strength of goodwill and willpower, happiness of a small family, ugliness of an uninvited guest and subsequent consequences. A bright effort to deal with a dark issue in society and stark reality, with a light yet strong message. Watch it, for better visualization and bitter realization.

Bobby Jasoos - In short, 'Bobby Bakwas' movie. The movie is more of a family reunion tale, told in a way that is pale. Nothing thrilling, head drilling, just time-killing, money spilling effort. Different getups in the movie for the leading lady showcase majorly the make-up efforts and the City backdrop (of Hyderabad) is a complete break-up of sorts. The director failed to catch the slang, way of living in the City and usage of locale words like 'Amma Todu/Mother Promise' and 'Paiki lagu/Pull it up' are like never heard and add nothing to the flavor in the film. The movie turns out into a complicated case; but of ego, finance, love and family sentiments and the audience are left to detect the actual objective of the movie. Vidya Balan needs to take more care of her image, both real and reel; is what the general feel. "Yeh nadaani kahi karde naa 'Kahaani' ki khyathi ko haani". Unnecessary cast seems free, uncanny biryani feast spree and a side/suicide account of 'Afreen'; all make this a forgettable story...

Transformers: Age of Extinction - A sequel to 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' movie, this film miserably fails to depict a suitable plot, acceptable script, good direction and tolerable destruction. In my view, it is time for the makers to extinct such transforming ideas for sometime and think, innovate, evolve new ideas. Not much scope for the actors with the heavy metals (or say hyper-metal, Transformium) doing most of the show, it is utter disappointing to cover-up the malice shown saying that 'innocent people' die in wars for a cause. As it turns out, innocent people (here, audience) do feel the same (for no good cause) with this lengthy affair of 'all is fair in love and war' concept. With a hint of one more sequel at the end; only hope can make us feel any better, my friend. Hope that there will be an appreciable change in this trend.
