Movie Review - Ram-Leela...

Movie: Ram-Leela (Hindi)
Directed: Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Produced: Sanjay Leela Bhansali/Kishore Lulla/Sandeep Singh
Story: Sanjay Leela Bhansali/Siddharth/Garima
Based on: Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
Music: Sanjay Leela Bhansali/Monty Sharma
Cast: Ranveer Singh/Deepika Padukone/Richa Chadda/Supriya Pathak

Ram-Leela - When people around, even pissing becomes difficult; but this movie shows kissing is such an easy act and in need, that it goes on a spree to the fact with no heed and missing creed. Romeo and Juliet story is known for Love but this movie for the most part depicts Lust as love. No great songs to match the picturesque elegance, no appreciable choreography to match the lyrics in songs, no control over the dialogs in the script, no censor on the scenes shot during screenplay, no wonder there are so many controversies with this movie. May be late but my view on this is better late than never; ignore this movie for better fate than ever. This Ram-Leela... Hai Ram yeh Sanjay ki Leela... 'Head-ache/Sir-dard' Goliyon ki Raasleela.

నా గొంతు శృతిలో నీ గుండె లయ…

Hi,

Tu Meri Adhuri Pyas…
You are MUTEMy Unquenched Thirst Ever…

Movie Review - Captain Phillips...

Movie: Captain Phillips (English)
Directed: Paul Greengrass
Produced: Michael De Luca/Dana Brunetti/Scott Rudin
Story: Billy Ray
Based on: True Story of a Pirate Attack
Music: Henry Jackman
Cast: Tom Hanks/Barkhad Abdi/Max Martini

Captain Phillips - Based on true incidents in Captain Richard Phillips' life, happened in 2009 in the Indian Ocean; this movie of length more than two hours has nothing great to offer except drama. But for the performance of Tom Hanks in the closing minutes after rescue, audience are left with no real clue. Somalia Pirates, a group of four, hijack a ship and take the Captain as a hostage in a lifeboat; are confronted by US Navy SEALs and are taken down. Copy that!!! Neither the conditions of fishermen turned pirates nor the struggle of captain turned hostage are better depicted. Even the dialog between the two leads during the journey for survival is pale. With this captain, you better do not sail.

Movie Review - Doosukeltha...

Movie: Doosukeltha (Telugu)
Directed: Veeru Potla
Produced: Mohan Babu Manchu
Story: Veeru Potla
Music: Mani Sharma
Cast: Vishnu Manchu/Lavanya Tripathi/Kota Srinivasa Rao/Brahmanandam/Vennela Kishore

Doosukeltha - A well directed script and appreciable performances by the lead actors. Once again, a comic caper from Vishnu and fit to bill effort. The movie impresses with Vishnu being good actor in making and comic punches from Brahmanandam and Vennela Kishore are stomach aching. The songs are neat and shot well and the music is fine tuned to gel. As the title (Race on) goes, it would certainly boost Vishnu's career and help him race on. A nice family, romantic and comic entertainer; watchable in theater.

Movie Review - Krrish 3...

Movie: Krrish 3 (Hindi)
Directed: Rakesh Roshan
Produced: Rakesh Roshan
Story: Rakesh Roshan
Music: Rajesh Roshan
Cast: Hrithik Roshan/Vivek Oberoi/Kangana Ranaut/Priyanka Chopra

Krrish 3 - Had it been released prior to X-Men, The Avengers, Super-Man, Spider-Man and Bat-Man movies; it would have been an out and out block buster. Sadly, this all-in-one has been late and so its fate, got busted. The only saving grace, is Hrithik with masked face. His dual performance, muscled presence, chiseled dance moves offer treat to his fans, but the rest of the story is known history. Oberoi as Kaal is not uber-cool; Priyanka as Priya, got her role cut just as her name; Kangana as Kaya, glass toda bina khaya; and the rest others are for name sake. Though the effort does not seem fake, this movie fails, an impression, to make. I might be offered a 'Krrish band' for saving others from incurring loss of time, money and peace. Krrish the three, no cheers.
