Movie Review - Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu...

Movie: Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (Telugu)
Directed: Puri Jagannadh
Produced: DVV Danayya
Story: Puri Jagannadh
Cast: Pawan Kalyan/Prakash Raj/Tamannaah

Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu - A movie definitely worth watching but surely forth forgotten. The storyline is to emphasize the use of right to vote to select right party and elect straight candidate to run the Government. Preaching about individual responsibility and social responsibility of every citizen now mostly lead to malpractice than mass-practice. An attempt to awake the society albeit with commercial elements and some supporting facts is appreciable; however, as the director failed to take care of each and every part of the movie (title should have said Camera-person; whatever may be the logic applied to it and spell-check on the news scrolls shown on TV channels in the movie) every person struggles to make good use of his/her own rights. It is only fair to say; move is good, movie is better but movement should come from within. It is a tough call now, between creeds and greeds. Change in our minds, thoughts and deeds would reflect in the change we wish to meet our needs. Be good, do good, wish the rest... all the best.

Movie Review - Dhenikaina Ready...

Movie: Dhenikaina Ready (Telugu)
Directed: G Nageswara Reddy
Produced: Dr.M Mohan Babu
Story: BVS Ravi
Cast: Dr.Brahmanandam/Vishnu Manchu/Hansika Motwani

Dhenikaina Ready - Ready for Anything - One more comic punchu... by Vishnu Manchu... audience ni navvullo munchu. Simple story well complemented by nice screenplay and fit to frame performances by experienced star-cast is worth complimenting. For a change, it is the Hero sporting Size-Zero body and improved performance by the Heroine. Another outstanding performance by Dr.Brahmanandam; who made 'Dhee' successful with not getting involved in any... and being involved in many; in this movie. His exceptional expressions are worth watching and the movie is a wholesome family entertainer. Songs and Choreography are a little down; however, they seem only complementary to the film which is definitely complimentary. Go and get drenched in laughter trench.

Movie Review - English Vinglish...

Movie: English Vinglish (Hindi)
Directed: Gauri Shinde
Produced: Sunil Lulla/R Balki/Rakesh Jhunjhunwala
Story: Gauri Shinde
Cast: Sridevi/Adil Hussain/Mehdi Nebbou/Priya Anand

English Vinglish - A must watch for every person/family... Well supported with facts and crafty acts; the movie showcases phases of multiple facets in life of - people (any Age/Race/Gender/Status) - people in relation (Friendship/Love/Marriage) - people by nature (Shy/Outspoken/Inferior/Carefree/Gay) - people with feelings (Ambitious/Caring/Phobic/Zealous)... Very keenly and cleanly knit story; appropriate screenplay; apt screen presence; expressive songs and elevating music. Put together, it is a beautiful magic. Sridevi transforms into the lead role of Sasi, so much so that only Sasi is seen in every scene. Good choice for a come-back; as a maker of snack. A filmfare nomination is sure for her performance. If it results in an award; it would be icing on the cake. The story of 'Aadmi-Topi-Dhoop ki Chaap' (Man-hat-tan) definitely leaves a hats-off, telling tan on every man.

Movie Review - Aiyyaa...

Movie: Aiyyaa (Hindi)
Directed: Sachin Kundalkar
Produced: Anurag Kashyap/Viacom 18
Story: Sachin Kundalkar
Cast: Rani Mukherji/Prithviraj

Aiyyaa - A clear desperation seen by Rani to match the performance of Vidya's in 'The Dirty Picture'; however, the concept is far distant and the story is so boring that the audience would be found snoring by the end of the show. The chemistry between Raj and Rani is nothing but smelly and the attempt is similar to undigested in belly. Not a kind of movie for the 'Black' star in particular, which could be a black mark in her career. 'Aiyyaa', not worthy to watch on a big screen and to respond 'Aiyyoo', why Rani... so mean!!? Deserving a tag - The Dirty Picture. Rani... please-um wake-upum, quickly from dreamum; your-um fame-um, in critical conditionum...!

Movie Review - Brothers...

Movie: Brothers (Telugu)
Directed: K.V.Anand
Produced: Kalpathi S Aghoram
Story: K.V.Anand/Subha
Cast: Suriya Sivakumar/Kajal Aggarwal/Sachin Khedekar/Tara

Brothers - As the name goes, only to watch for brothers and the rest is not worth any others. The conjoined twin brothers get separated by the intermission of the movie and so do the script, story-grip and direction. The first half of the movie seems a bait for the audience and the second half makes them to restlessly wait for the end. Suriya again selected a story which includes sophisticated science, a tour of another country and dual role (of no need) and the result would be no different from his earlier Non-sense (7th Sense). Movie is good for excellent cinematography, scenic beauty in some songs and the performance of Suriya as usual. But it is a sad story, poor script work and failed direction by the end to treat such a talented star cast and the respected Unified Team of stars from past; and might lead to a global controversy, yet again; and for Suriya this would be no gain. Produced by 'Aghoram', this product is 'Ghoram' (Ghastly).
