Drishyam 2 (Visual - The Resumption) - Rarely has such a sequel been so gripping and increased the bar set by the original (Drishyam). The screenplay is very well woven and the storyline is neatly done. The first half projects the protagonist (and pretty much every known character) having a change in behaviour; being addicted to alcohol, a spendthrift, arrogant, over-confident and self-centric. But as the climax unfolds, from that time till the tail-end; the audience would be enthralled to see how those dots have been connected and eventually lead to a worthy ending, without much loose ends. The amount of research, time and effort put in this film to make it look so believable and legally bound, yet does not lose the charm and flavour is really spellbound. The actors have been so natural in performing their roles and their actions speak more than words through expressions. Such an original screenplay definitely worth a shot at Oscars, leaves no scars but strong impressions. A double 'Visual' treat to watch... 'Jeethe Raho' (long live) Joseph...
