Deva-Das - A family entertainer with homely taking about a timely friendship between a Don/Deva and a Doctor/Das; a mix of mass and class. Most of the movie revolves around these two characters with comedy, sentiment, commotion and commitment. And a bit of added romantic tracks for each with few nice song-tracks. Rest of all artists, irrespective of roles, have only cameo appearances. The effort is good in explaining the duty of doctors and motto of hospitals, though the current reality is pretty distant. Nevertheless, this movie deals with it superficially and also the values of trust, friendship and family. This multi-starrer definitely struck right chords with respect to balancing the images of both leads, though it lacks the intense screenplay beads. A different drunkard flick with a nerd as sidekick. Nice timepass pick.
