Srinivasa Kalyanam - A story supposed to deal with the importance of marriage in one's life and the traditions associated with it, falls flat in screenplay and characterization, especially that of lead actor's role. Not much of traditions are captured in action as discussed in diction; in fact, how on earth would a bride, in revealing attires, be allowed to roam around with the groom before marriage, especially in a village with hardcore traditional values; when the subject of the story is to highlight the traditions of a marriage in a village nativity, which are age-old but precious than gold; is beyond anticipation. To challenge that strong culture with such a meek direction is actually bold, but a blindfold and failed attempt. This movie in particular does not even have other appreciable add-ons in the form of songs or background score. With many unnecessary roles and characters along, it obviously failed to score. A wedding with mean fanfare.
