Nene Raju Nene Mantri (I am both the King and the Minister) - A triangular love story between a hot-headed man, his beloved wife and his obsessive lover; with a touch of politics and concept of revenge, bits and pieces of killings and corruption, misunderstandings and provocation, put together and takes a plunge at the end. The actual objective, if thought to be so, has been lost out to love and lust, vengeance and dust, emotional gust, finally aghast in the last. A different attempt by the director from his past, whose work is anyway not that vast. Kudos to Kajal for a laudable performance. Not sure why Catherine primarily gets a secondary lead character but it is the same in this film too. Remember earlier 'bunny' movies..!? Very funny to realize. Some dialogs and punches are good and Rana's effort to evolve from earlier epic saga is appreciable. Though more focus on expressions and diction, subtle variation in action would have added further value. As the saying goes... well, this too comes and goes.
