Movie Review - Oopiri...

Movie: Oopiri (Telugu)
Directed: Vamsi Paidipally
Produced: Prasad V Potluri
Story: Olivier Nakache/Eric Toledano
Music: Gopi Sunder
Based on: French film 'The Intouchables'
Cast: Nagarjuna Akkineni/Karthik/Tamannaah/Prakash Raj/Anushka Shetty/Shriya Saran

Oopiri (Breath) - Not a breath-taking movie on the whole; however, certainly a breath of fresh air in making. Great performances, especially by Karthi and Nag; touching script, nice cinematography and highly laudable screenplay; sometimes tear-jerking and some scenes berserking. Movie length is a bit dragging and any compliment on lyrics/songs seem bragging. Yet, the film is not boring and the audience won't be snoring. Many a time, the movie would take us through our memories; some pleasant and some poignant, the moments; some cool, when we drool and occasionally being a fool, all in good spirit. Movie talks about relations and priorities in life and most importantly how to celebrate life, though categorically it takes a huge heart (and probably heavy bank balance) to practice. Being said that, atleast on the screen it looks/feels nice. Worth watching and breath refreshing. The best of this director till now, an adaptation from real life though. Please have a go...
