Movie Review - Kanche...

Movie: Kanche (Telugu)
Directed: Krish
Produced: Saibabu Jagarlamudi/Y Rajeev Reddy
Story: Krish
Music: Chirantan Bhatt
Cast: Varun Tej/Pragya Jaiswal/Nikitin Dheer/Gollapudi Maruti Rao/Sowcar Janaki/Singeetam Srinivasa Rao/Srinivas Avasarala

Kanche (Fence) - A first of its kind movie on Telugu Screen; this war based drama mainly focuses on the caste differences in any society, its negative effect on harmony, its exploitation by the rich and the actual need of human being and being human. Good screenplay and story narration, especially considering that the story is woven around world war two and had to involve people and places from different countries, cultures, regions and religions to come together. The script and lyrics are highlights so are the song backdrops and war sequences. Improvement needed in the dialog delivery and intensity shown by the new lead actors; however, it has been an appreciable effort by the director and team to present the concept and also projecting that it is peace and harmony and unity which keep a society at strength and not differences and fences of any length.
