Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ) - A mix-up of multiple story-lines such as Adhurs (Pundit and Punisher) and Julayi (fast track and get back) except that, here both the roles as in Adhurs done by one and the amount to retrieve as in Julayi increased six times (from 15 billion to 90 billion). Coincidentally, same actor (TB) portrayed the father role in all these movies. Barring the song in controversy, the music album is average and in fact, few songs seem misfit in the movie flow and the climax is low. As earlier, the lead actor has shown commendable performance in acting and dancing, but the PH factor/lady actor is of little prominence with 2D looks and gaudy presence. As for the costumes used for her and scenes showing her appreciation, not sure "what message the director wanted to give to the civil society?", lacking clarity and sanity. For die-hard 'SS AA' fans, it is only a treat in installments on the whole. For the rest all, their pocket might have a hole.

Movie Review - Tubelight...
Movie: Tubelight (Hindi)

Tubelight (Gullible Guy) - This movie is a well made attempt about Army Soldiers; at border, fighting war, in prison, captured, missing, hurt, lost; and their families wishing for their well being, unknown of their whereabouts, unaware of the consequences, unsure of their return, unconsolable on their loss, immediate life in the soup, coping with the coup, hoping against hope, shaping new scope. It's not focused majorly on war sequences but on its consequences; and a little character with brittle looks, blinking thinking but strong belief, gullible yet lovable. For this effort, any kind of disgust shown would be a disrespect towards the real heroes and their kin. Of-course the reel hero did a role which is not akin as earlier. Still it is not a mass movie with brass music and glossy songs but a class apart effort. Movie length seems very long, repetitive scenes seem boring and lead role is not rip-roaring. However, it needs standing belief and understanding for relief. Well I say to you, 'Watch meri jaan, is movie ko tu; chod ke sare kintu, parantu...' Watch it without any prenotions to match the shown emotions. It is an essential movie, if not a commercial movie.

Rarandoi Veduka Chuddham - A feel good family movie, though with some unnecessary characters and scenes of no relevance and significance, they are of short length. The display of camaraderie between lead actors is of strength. Songs and choreography are average, with good beats in small bits. Climax is not so convincing, yet a bit resemblance to yesteryear movie of this Hero's father. But not such a block buster and many a thing to muster. Lead actor has to improve a lot in expression to make a better impression. Rakul has been the soul of her character, so is Sampath. Both are making their hold strong and going to have a run that is long. Best part has been the costume department and comedy of 'VenKi' throughout. Overall a good, if not grand, event to watch-out.
