Movie Review - Autonagar Surya...
Movie: Autonagar Surya (Telugu)
Directed: Deva Katta
Produced: K Atchi Reddy
Story: Deva Katta
Music: Anoop Rubens
Cast: Naga Chaitanya/Samantha/Sai Kumar/Chakravakam Madhu/Jayaprakash Reddy/Bramhanandam
Autonagar Surya - Admirably good performance by the lead actor supported well by the story, screenplay, direction, dialogues and other characters. Chaitanya looks very improved and improvised his skills in portraying different emotions and also dancing. The story backdrop and the locale setting is pretty good including the slang and activities of a gang. This movie is definitely a success with a clang, if not a bang. Most of the songs are good with colorful cinematography and beautiful vocabulary. The social element in the movie has been dealt carefully with some really good punch dialogues. Big chunk of appreciations to the villain character artist and also to the leading lady. Director has done well to keep his reputation in tact earned from his earlier work. This movie, though released late, has got latest spark. Reasonably good watch and to this, 'Mumbai Surya' is no match.

Movie Review - Humshakals...
Movie: Humshakals (Hindi)
Directed: Sajid Khan
Produced: Vashu Bhagnani
Story: Sajid Khan
Music: Himesh Reshammiya
Cast: Saif Ali Khan/Ritesh Deshmukh/Ram Kapoor/Tamannaah/Bipasha/Esha/Satish Shah
Humshakals (Look-alikes) - This Director's earlier movie is 'Himmatwala' which is called as 'Hammerwala' and watching it is considered as extreme torture (by Director himself). If that movie is 'H - Hammer', this movie is 'Triple H' and '9 Times Torture'. Both, this director and his sibling (a Choreographer turned Director), are proven to be pretty good in inventing such torture techniques. This movie is one heck of a waste in shambles and a taste of torture in shackles. And the 'S-M-S' (Shanaya, Mishti, Shivani) characters played by the leading ladies in this film; well, most of the audience would only pity them. The Director follows a trend of naming his movies with letter 'H' and most of them are hammer 'H' and this one takes the 'Crown' of Hammers. Pretty soon his sibling is coming up with another 'H - Happy New Year' and this verdict should act as a viewers' discretion notice. There is a song in this movie... 'Hum Pagal nahin hain bhaiya, Humara dimag kharab hai'... and seemingly it aptly fits to these two. Whoa! Done with this Review.

Movie Review - Jump Jilani...
Movie: Jump Jilani (Telugu)
Directed: E Sattibabu
Produced: Ambica Krishna
Story: E Sattibabu / Sundar C
Based on: Tamil Movie 'Kalakalappu'
Music: Vijay Ebenezer
Cast: Allari Naresh/Isha Chawla/Swathi Deekshith/Posani Krishna Murali/Kota Srinivasa Rao
Jump Jilani - Another time-pass comedy from current Hero for small-budget break-even films in Tollywood. And the actor performing two main characters (Dual-Role) definitely helped in reducing the budget and also bettering the movie collections. The cinematography and lyrics in some songs are added value to an otherwise comedy story with some mimic parodies and comic punch lines. A movie worth watching in regular theatres, for good laughter and as a mood refresher. Also, to find out the power of a certain 'Google'... in the film. Could have been a better outcome if more focus was on screenplay, movie length and editing. Nevertheless, it leaves us with chuckling, if not jumping.
